Nicola Mecca is a composer and sound artist working across concert music, film, interactive media, radio and installation. Through composition, live electronics, sound for moving image and performance, his work explores unstable tuning, archival and degraded media, breath, noise, silence and the physical experience of listening.
His work has appeared across radio, festival and installation contexts, including BBC Radio 3’s Short Cuts, the BBC World Service, Rai Radio 3, CAMP Radio, Triste Film Festival, MIRP, XMTR Festival and Sonosound.
